Our space in the heart of New Delhi

The IU India Gateway is located at E-12 Defence Colony in central New Delhi.

The Gateway has 5,000 square feet of office space including a 30-seat conference room, a 22-seat videoconference room, and two meeting/study rooms.

The IU India Gateway supports IU faculty research and student-focused activities in India and is a key resource for connecting with IU's partner institutions in India.

IU Global Village: Living-Learning Center

Sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, the Global Living-Learning Community (Global LLC) connects a diverse range of students from the U.S. and across the world.

The community is located in Read Residential Center and is reserved for students passionate about learning to understand the world in all its diversity.

American Institute of Indian Studies

Since 1961, American knowledge of India has been shaped by the American Institute of Indian Studies.

The American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS) was formed to further the knowledge of India in the United States by supporting American scholarship on India. The programs of AIIS promote and advance mutual understanding between the citizens of the U. S. and of India.
