Dhar India Studies Program will be offering a number of $500 travel grants for graduate students presenting their work at a professional conference this Spring. The paper must be on a topic directly related to the Indian subcontinent but can be in any discipline.
If you are presenting a paper at a conference this Spring, and are interested in obtaining financial assistance from the program, please send the following material to firstname.lastname@example.org (with the subject line: DISP grad conference grant):
- one page description of the conference and your paper abstract
- letter of acceptance from the conference
- 2 page CV.Please also ask your supervisor to write a brief email of support.
Grants are, moreover, competitive and will be provided to students with outstanding academic records.
Deadline for submission: Friday, March 13, 2020.Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, April 03, 2020.
